Re: Fitment Thread

I will start.

HRE 560R

Front
Wheel diameter: 19"
Wheel width: 10"
Wheel offset: +22mm
Wheel backspace: 6.4"
Tire size: 285/35/19
Front brakes: 2009+ CTS-V (+0.3" track over stock)
Special modifications required: spindle dust cap needs to be removed in order for wheel center cap to fit.
Notes: Some reduced turning circle due to rim touching rear a-arm bar. Need to make sure wheel is centered in wheel well to eliminate rubbing due to taller than stock tires.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 19"
Wheel width: 10"
Wheel offset: +21mm
Wheel backspace: 6.3"
Tire size: 285/35/19
Rear brakes: 2009+ CTS-V (same track as stock)
Differential: Dana 44 (stock width)
Special modifications required: none
Notes: Need to make sure differential is centered to eliminate any rubbing.

Car is not on the ground yet. So no great pictures. But here is what I have.

General Pictures:

Front Fitment (not actual wheel, but fits exactly the same):

Rear Fitment (not actual wheel, but fits exactly the same):

Re: Fitment Thread

My autocross set up, '01 Camaro SS wheels.

Wheel offset: +50 (effectively -1)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 285/40/17 Nitto NT555

Notes: I rolled my front fenders, removed my fender liners and had to BFH the battery tray for tire clearance.

Wheel width: 9"
Wheel offset: +50 (effectively -1)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 285/40/17 Nitto NT555

Re: Fitment Thread

Corvette Salad Shooters (ignore the tire size, these were on a MK2 GTI)

Front
Wheel diameter: 16"
Wheel width: 8.5"
Wheel offset: +32 (effectively -19)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 205/40/16
Front brakes: stock
Special modifications required: 2" bolt on spacers
Notes: this set up is extremely flush with the fenders, if you plan to run super low then expect to roll the fenders and maybe run a slightly stretched tire.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 16"
Wheel width: 8.5"
Wheel offset: +32 (effectively -19)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 205/40/16
Rear brakes: stock PBR disc
Differential: stock 10 bolt
Special modifications required: 2" bolt on spacers
Notes: just like the fronts you will definitely need to roll the fenders if lowered and possibly run a stretched tire.

Re: Fitment Thread

Trans Am GTA wheels

Front
Wheel diameter: 16"
Wheel width: 8"
Wheel offset:+16 (-35)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 245/50/16
Front brakes: stock
Special modifications required: none
Notes: this is with 2" bolt on adapters, they would definitely require at least a good fender pull to run like this. I also have -1.6* of camber up front.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 16"
Wheel width: 8"
Wheel offset: +16 (-35)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size: 245/40/16
Rear brakes: stock PBR disc
Differential: stock 10 bolt
Special modifications required: none
Notes: again I have 2" bolt on adapters in these pics, recommend decent fender pull unless running stretched tires.

Re: Fitment Thread

LT1 4th gen Camaro SS wheels up front and OEM ZR1 wheels out back.

Front
Wheel diameter: 17"
Wheel width: 9"
Wheel offset: +50 (-1)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size:
Front brakes: stock
Special modifications required: 2" bolt on spacers
Notes: looks to be a perfect fit. Maybe a fender roll for peace of mind.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 17"
Wheel width: 11"
Wheel offset: +36 (-15)
Wheel backspace:
Tire size:
Rear brakes: stock PBR disc
Differential: stock 10 bolt
Special modifications required:
Notes: this is with 2" bolt on adapters. Definitely too much poke. 1" or .75" spacers would be better.

Front fitment:

Rear fitment:
Those Vette wheels used 255-50-16 tires stock, a full 2" wider than what you have in the pictures. The use of a 1.25" spacer would make them work perfect and you can run 245-50 or 255-50 tires easily.

Re: Fitment Thread

This is a race only fitment

Front
Wheel diameter: 18"
Wheel width: 11.5"
Wheel offset: 25
Wheel backspace:7.25 (front brakes are ~1/2" wider)
Tire size: 315/30R18 Hoosier A6
Front brakes: JRZ aluminum hubs, 12.2" rotors
Special modifications required:
No fender liners, fenders pulled out on mounts, close to 3° of negative camber, aggressive fender roll, pinch seam rolled, and a loss of full lock steering angle.

Notes:These pictures are with a 1/2" spacer, Parts have been bought to change wheels to 12" wide, I still need to buy some 335 A6's. Will probably need more camber and cutting the fenders down low.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 18"
Wheel width: 11.5"
Wheel offset: 38
Wheel backspace:7.75
Tire size: 315/30R18 Hoosier A6
Rear brakes: PBR 11.67"
Differential: 9-bolt
Special modifications required: Rear fenderwells are sectioned in to the frame rails, fenders are rolled. For 345's I may need to cut the lip, re-roll the fenders, and weld the inner fender further up the wheel arch.

Notes: hoping to go to 18x12's in back with 345/35R18 A6's.

Re: Fitment Thread

Roostmeyer, those wheels look so incredibly good. Wow.... CCWs?

Anyway I just got some ZR1's.

Front
Wheel diameter: 17
Wheel width: 9.5
Wheel offset: 56
Wheel backspace: 7.4
Tire size: 275/40/17
Front brakes: LS1 brakes (LS1 rotors are supposedly .300 inches thick)
Special modifications required: 2 inch adapter.
Notes: 2 inch adapter plus LS1 rotor is 2.3 inches total. Clearance to strut and tie rod end is VERY tight. Less than 1/8 of an inch by my estimation, but it does clear.

Rear
Wheel diameter: 17
Wheel width: 11
Wheel offset: 36.5
Wheel backspace: 7.397
Tire size: 315/35/17 (Nitto NT555, these are supposed to run narrow)
Rear brakes: 89 PBR discs
Differential: thirdgen 9-bolt
Special modifications required: 1.25 inch adapter, minor clearancing of inner fender, adjustable panhard bar. Any PHB with 1 rod end will suffice.
Notes: I had to BFH the inner fender in front of the tire above the LCA and I tried to hammer in some of the "Ridges" above the bump stop. Most people cut these and the bump stops off, but I don't see that as necessary at all. I didnt really even need to hammer in those ridges, I just wanted to take a 16th of an inch off of them just for my own peace of mind.

If you do cut the bump stop area off and plate it in and make sure you clearance the area in the front a little more you may be able to run a 1 inch spacer and tuck these in VERY tight. These would not work with a 4th gen rear axle.

This is the front of the fenderwell, that black bar is my lower control arm and you're looking up towards the spring pocket and shock mounts on the car. This is the area of most concern, and my front 17x9.5's would have rubbed here also with 2 inch spacers.

Re: Fitment Thread

I Really Hope Someone Can Clear This Up...

I am about to purchase 18x9.5 C5 wheels and i need to see who here is using the Hubcentric adapters and who is using the Lugcentric adapters.

Also can you share your experiences with EZAccessory or Motorsport-tech in regards to your Hubcentric or Lugcentric adapters.

Thank you,

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am using adapters from EZAccessories. The rears are 2.00" and are both hub-centric as well as wheel-centric. The fronts are 2.25" and are hub-centric on the car side, but lug-centric on the wheel side. They can't be wheel-centric on the front because of the spindle hub sticking out. I am running 17 x 9.5, +56mm offset, 7.45" backspace ZR1 replicas from OE Wheels, LLC. I have no complaints with the quality of the adapters, but I did buy replacement Dorman lugs to use with the adapters because I thought the ones shipped with them looked cheap. Made me feel better, anyways. I used blue Loctite when installing the adapters. YMMV

Wow, Thanks for the quick response.

Would you happen to have the part numbers? I will get the exact same ones.

I could only see the 70.3mm -> 70.3mm and 73mm ->73mm options.

Those are the same part numbers I ordered. I had to take a Dremel to the inside of the rear adapters and to the rear axle hub to free up just a hair more space for proper fitment. They fit a little too tight, which would have made removing them very difficult. Fronts fit fine after a good cleaning of the hubs. All fit nice and snug, with no room for movement.

You should be able to run 2.00" adapters front and rear if you're going with 18" wheels. You'll have an additional 1/2" clearance from the tie rod end than I do with my 17" wheels. FYI

Re: Fitment Thread

Wait, your running the same wheels in front and back, yet the rear has spacers, how do they line up equally then? My camaro has the same wheels (z28 wheels) on front and back, they’re even, but I don’t run spacers?

You're responding to a 7 year old thread. Who/what post # is your comment in reference to?

Welcome to TGO!
