I ordered a set of wheels that was restored and bought new center caps , the wheels have like a 2" center hole and the caps are 3 " . Anyone have any idea on getting the right center caps . Or do i have the incorrect wheels . 1986 trans am .

Re: center caps dont fit?

Wow.....nice ride. My rims are a little different than yours. I'm also trying to figure out why I can't get my new center caps with metal retainers to fit??? Your center caps are the ones that fit my type of rims.

Re: center caps dont fit?

Doesn't look like anyone gave any answers here. I am having the same issue with snowflake wheels. The center caps won't go on all the way on the front. From what I can tell, the hub for the 3rd gen sticks out farther than the 2nd gen hub. Can anyone verify this?
