Does 235/60/15 fit on a stock height camaro?
Does 235/60/15 fit on a stock height camaro? its 1988, order new tires soon, looking a bf goodrich for my 15 inch rims. i know this tire will fit in front and rear as is. however can they fit in the front of the car without rubbing if wheel is cut all the way?
thanks

Running that size front/back on my '82 Z28 with stock 15" rims. No clearance issues. Look good IMO. Will, although put your speedo out about 10%. Not much difference cruising around town but flying down the highway?

look good IMO, as well. i also run 37's on my uncalibrated silverado speedo which has 30's factory so I'm use to an inaccurate speedo, running 235/60-15 on my camaro will be running around 26's on a speedo calibrated for 23 inch tires about. will cause my speedo to be around 5% off, (speedo will read lower then I'm actually going). this doesn't bother me, as long as i don't trash my new tires as they rub on my frame as soon as I'm trying to pull into a parking spot. thank you for information.
thank you Ron!

I run 235/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on my 1990 RS that's been lowered one inch with Eibach springs and have no issues whatsoever. No rubbing at all and look pretty good, too.

thanks for input, i was thinking about buying "cooper cobra radial GT" instead of the bf goodrich on the count of them being about 30+ dollars cheaper per tire. and still have the raised white letters i was looking for. the tire tread pattern isn't the same, although is similar. discount tire direct has the cooper cobra radial GT's for around about 410$ shipped to my door. where the bf goodrichs are around $500+ to my door. car is not my all season daily driver therefore all season traction is not a concern.

You can get t/a's at $128 each from tirerack, with shipping to my zip code it runs out to $138 each.
My X-mas present to myself is a new set of t/a's but I am going to take the tirerack price to my local shops and see if they can come close before I order them.

Re: Does 235/60/15 fit on a stock height camaro?
I thought 235/60/15 was standard on some models. The 215/65/15 is 26" the 235/60/15 is 26.1, so unless you've re-calibrated your speedo it should be good to go.
