Re: irocs or torque thrusts
I think both look good in their own right. Depends on the look you're going for. Sleeper-I'd go with the IROCs, a little flashier-TTs

Better pics...
I agree, they both look good. I'm tossing around the idea as well. Big decider is I can't find 16" TTs and have brand new 16" Goodyear tires on my IROC wheels. Doh.

IROC, but anything in 16" is a gamble as tires are becoming a scarce commodity in 245-50-16...
Re: irocs or torque thrusts
Fortunately, one of the remaining choices is at least a quality tire, and not horribly expensive. BFG Sport Comp II, around $500 for a set delivered from discount tire direct.

I love 'em both, but TT may be played out for a while.

My wife feels the same as most of you all. I showed her the pic of the blue car I posted with the TTs and she said she likes my factory 16" stockers better. Lol. Good thing it's my car.

Re: irocs or torque thrusts
IMO, the IROC wheel is one of the best factory production wheels ever made, that is what I would stick with. My ideal wheel would be an 18 inch IROC replica that is powder coated black or gunmetal grey.
I may be biased though, but I am just a fan of factory style wheels. Other factory wheels I really like: Acura TL type S wheel, and the ZO6 wheels, and Jeep rubicon 5 star wheels.
Wheels make or break a car IMO, and lines are important. But that said, you shouldn't listen to our words. And seeing as you don't necessarily agree with your wife on this one, it sounds like you are going with the TT's. You have to run the wheels that you like, because it is your car.

Re: irocs or torque thrusts
I prefer the staggered look of the TTs.
Nice dish up front with a nicer deep dish in the rear and is still tucked in under the rear wells. Perfect BS.
It just looks meaner/more aggressive.
