I just need a quick answer lol
Hey, so I bought new rims and tires. The rims are 18" but the offset is completly not stock so i needed to buy spacers. The tires are stock though. Stupid me forgot to think about rubbing before buying spacers. I bought 2.5" for the front, and 3" for the rear. I rolled the fenders but they still rub a tad. the car is the stock hight also... how far out do the stock rims sit?

I'm guessing you went about 1/2 inch too wide on the spacers. Your saying it rubs on the fender correct? not the frame or tie rod?

Yeah, it just rubbs on the fender. And the front tires not only rub over bumps but also if I turn more that 50% left or right.
Do you have a setup the doesn't rub that you can measure from?? I'm also thinking on lowering the car a bit.

Other than the rims being 18"x8" I don't know and other specs. The tires are 8" wide and are the stock diameter.
Is there a place on the rims I can look for some specs?? Sorry, I'm really new at aftermarket rims.

Re: I just need a quick answer lol
my rears are 18 and i use a 2 inch spacer
my fronts are 17 with a 1.5 inch spacer plus .25 brake upgrade, so total 1.75.
i think you went too big on the spacers.

Re: I just need a quick answer lol
yeah, I was thinking about just going 2" all around. Im kinda wondering if the rims that you got have a different offset than mine.
I think the easiest way that I found how to go about this is just whip out the tape measure and compare them lol. So measuring from the deepest section of the fender well to the top of the tire closest to you I got my front tires sitting at 18" even and my rear tires sitting at 13.25"
What do yours sit at if you dont mind looking??

Re: I just need a quick answer lol
Okay, I found the offset of the rims that I have. the offset is 42mm (1.65").
So I did some math. The original rims of the car had an offset of 0mm in the front and 16mm (.62") in the rear. So I need 42mm spacers in the front and (adding 1.65" to the .62") 2.28" in the rear..... I found that they do not make spacers that specific lol. so i looked up the stock recommended spacers which was .525" bringing it safe to put the 2.5" spacers that I already have in the rear and buying new 2" spacers for the front
