Been looking through the forums and can't seem to find a pic of a black Firebird/trans am with the 17" black lace wheels. Trying to decide what to get for my car. Gold or black. Please post pics if you have this setup.

Well if Beechwood Tan I'd say Gold, with Black I could go either way, with Grey IDK. Be nice if they had them in the Graphite Grey Silver color the older cars had.

 

With a grey interior, black wheels.

Your profile says you have a GTA. And didn't all GTAs come with gold wheels, regardless of interior color? If so, and yours has gold, and you're happy with gold, and retaining the look of "originality" is that important to you, then the choice seems simple: stay gold.

Otherwise, Trans Ams and Formulas with grey or black interiors that received GTA wheels probably only received black wheels, although I can see black w/black interior having a choice of black or gold wheels. But yours probably would've received black wheels, had it not been a GTA, so for you now, with a grey interior, definitely black wheels, IMO.

Since you're apparently considering a change, then it sounds like you'd like to make a change, but the choice is yours, alone, because you'll be the one living with it.

 

Yeah, it currently has the original gold. Not worried about it matching the interior because the windows are tinted quite dark so you can't really see the interior. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the 17" gold, but was hoping to see the black ones on a black GTA.

 

I think black cars look better with the gold.

 

Ya, I'm kinda leaning that way as well I think. In my head black and black looks sexy, but for some reason the gold seems to suite a black trams am better.
