ROH Wheels

I'm looking to go a bit larger on the wheels and tires to fit a Baer
track system (13" rotors). According to Chevy High Performance the largest wheels and tires I can get on my 88 IROC (front and rear) are:

Wheel: 17" X 9.5" with 5.5" backspacing
Tire: 275 X 40 X 17

I am looking at wheels made by ROH - anyone have any experience with the "ZS" wheels??

Thanks

When you go to look into buying your wheels check out www.jdwheels.com ,they are great people to deal with and have some serious quick shipping. I got my Snypers from them. As for the ZS wheels Chuck Everly has them on his car,so you might want to drop him a message if you want to know about them.

I second the jdwheels.com recommendation. Even over the holidays, I got my wheels in 3 business days. Talk to Rick.

The ZS wheels look really good on thirdgens. I don't think they come in 9.5" though, only 9". In that case, you'll need a 5" backspacing.

Hello everyone,

I have taken shipment of a set of ROH R/T 18x9 and 18x10 black ice. They look like butter. Iwas assured that they will fit the car even if I had a 1" drop. Group A wheels said they have Trans Ams running around with 295 rears and 275 fronts. Group A wheels are the cheapest I have found on ROHs. Shipping was three days only four days before christmas!!

Hope this helps.
Now to find tires that big!!!!!

ROH makes great cheap wheels for our cars. The backspacing is perfect. I have their 17x9 Snypers with 275's combined with w 2" drop and I couldn't be happier. You should be fine.

All of the sellers (Skulte, Group A, JD Wheels) are about the same now in cost for the rims. I perfer Skulte, Andris is excellent.

I got my ZS wheels from group a, and havent lost my car in a parking lot since. Imho there a good looking well crafted wheel and theres a huge offset to clear calipers go for em.

And yeah they do come in 9.5 ive got 17 by 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with a 245/45 and 275/40 the fit is great and the fat back tire looks wicked.

I did quite a bit of legwork before I purchased mine. I can't confirm this -- but, according to 'Group A' they are the sole importer of ROH wheels, so theres no sense in buying from any other place since they all come from Group A.

Like formula350sd I'm running the 17x8.5's with 245 up front and 275 out back. Really changes the stance of the car. Looks nice.

We convinced GroupA to go with the 9's and 9.5's up front, not that it matters

Hey firechicken, I Pmd ya but I don't know if you got it. I would really like to see your wheels, beacuse I am considering gettting them in 18s too. If you don't want to post them on here just send them to me if you get a chance. thanks

I bought my 16" ROH Snypers from Kim at JDWheels. I couldn't have been happier with the sale, service and product. I like it so much I order the same wheels in 17". If I was ever in the market I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or suggest them to anyone.
