Anyone with 10 spoke SS wheels? Pics?

I am thinking of getting a set of new Camaro SS 10 spoke SS wheels for my bird, and I was wondering if anyone already has a thirdgen with these wheels. SLP Sells them in painted silver finish for $600, which is a good price for 17X9" wheels, plus I really like them. If anyone has any pics of them on thirdgens, I would love too see them.

Here they are on a camaro. I think this is the thirdgenresource car so there might be more pics on their site. I could be wrong though.

Good lookin' wheel. I saw some on a blue Camaro 'vert back in April. It looked good but I think chrome looks 10 times better than the silver. save your money and get chrome, they're only like $400 more and I think you'll like them better. Better to go ahead and buy something you really like, IF you like chrome better. I thought about getting these wheels myself but I think I'm going to hold off and get some Z06 wheels later on.

Hey Poppa Chubby, is it easy to see the brakes through those wheels? I have those ugly drums in the back and I dont want to show those off to the world if I were to ever get those wheels, Just curious

OMG those look so awesome! I think those are definitely the wheels I want. I actually like the silver finish as much as the chrome, but since I am a poor college student, I am on a budget and I think I'll save the extra $400 for tires. But first I need to replace my worn out suspension or the wheels won't do me much good. Does anyone know if someone makes plain center caps for those wheels, because I don't really want bowtie center caps on a pontiac. If not, I guess I'll just have to make my own center caps.

If you buy them from SLP you can get the SLP centercaps

Yeah, you can see the tiny discs up front and the drums in the back. I pulled the drums, cleaned them up and painted them before I put the new rims on.
I found some black paint for body trim at Autozone and used that. It leaves a dark, dull coat so it's kind of hard to see until you get up on it.

Being able to see the tiny discs up front and big drums in the rear just gave me more incentive to buy an aftermarket brake system . . .

Is the backspacing right on those rims for the 3rd gen cars? I thought that the 4th gen cars had different rear backspacing than the 3rd gens? I know spacers will correct that, but just curious as to what is up with these rims.

I think they look awesome though! I might just have to be in the market for some soon.

You would need adapters. They run about 300 bucks I think.

I'm gonna get a set of those and powdercoat them red to match my car. So they will look like the 35th SS wheels only red instead of black.

That'll look nice.
If you have a red car then consider black rims in a nice gloss finish.
Some cars turn out pretty nice that way . . .

IROCZTWENTYGR8 iroc z wheels are nice but they are getting old and out dated for one but thats besides the point..... if you ever have SOME POWER 16x8 wheels are kinda small for that task, especially how difficult it is already for RWD cars...... 17x9.5's do A MILLION TIMES BETTER..... i know this (17x9.5 ROH ZS wheels - DAMMM )

IROC rims are timeless and classic, as are Third Gens. If they look better they look better, it doesn't matter when they were made, and theres dudes out there hooking up on 15's.

I'm gonna agree with Iroctwentygr8. The Iroc wheels are the nicest thirdgen camaro wheels in my opinion. And isn't it easier to hook up on 15 inch wheels if you have drag radials because of the larger sidewall?

I have these wheels for sale! I have the 10 spoke silver SS wheels off of a 2001 SS. If you are interested e-mail me. I had them on the car for less than 100 miles. I bought them last year off of ebay and bought some Khumos for them. My car is not my daily driver so it sits a lot. All of the wheels are mint, but, one has a curb mark less than an inch in size. I have pictures to prove it for you. I have a solution to your center caps as well. When i got them the bowties were faded so i just painted them dark blue, the color of my iroc. You could just take to paint off of the center caps if you wish. I have the stock lugs with covers as well as a chrome set with locking lugs. I am asking $550 shipped! Last year i wanted to get some ZO6 wheels but last year this time they were pretty hard to get and everyone wanted a small fortune for them! Well, i just got 4 OEM 2002 Zo6 wheels so i will be selling the SS wheels now, without tires. I got a deal and i could not pass it up! I have pictures if someone would like to help me post them! I have no idea how to do it from my e-mail!? Well, if you are interested let me know, later.

I like those wheels. I wish they had a deep dish version that fit thirdgens. I am a fan of deep dish wheels.
