Anyone here install a SLP loudmouth Catback in their third gen?

I have a 92' camaro with a modifed TPI motor, It has Edelbrock TES headers and Single 3" Catco Converter. I ordered the SLP loudmouth which is from the new LS1 motors. The only problem that seems to be would be the lenth of the Intermediate pipe, which should be no problem fabricating, Im only worried about sound, what do u guys think? I hope someone here has one on their TPI(third gen)

Fatal88's car now has an LS1. Probably won't sound anything like a TPI. Should still sound awesome with your setup though.

There's a resonater right behind the cat. Then it's 3" back over the axle where it splits into 2 1/2" duals, one out the pass. side and one out the driver's side. So yeah, no muffler.

$299.99. I'm not sure about flow, but you don't get much free-er flowing than that.

You can get them from SLP. (www.slpeng.com)
Since they're made for 4th gens, you'll have to have an exhaust shop cut it and weld it to your cat. You might have to change the hangers as well but i'm not sure. Other than that it should fit fine.

A guy I know has a set on a stock ls1 and its loud and sounds awesome when hes driving...idle is decent to. but from what he told me you cant hear anything from inside the car....cant be worse than my dual setup....shakes everything....

I've never heard one from inside the car, but I imagine with headers and no cat it would be pretty loud.

a friend of mine has one on his 4th gen ls1 and put it this way, you cant have a conversation with the person next to you. It does sound good though. He has headers and no cat. It sounds like if you run open y pipe, but the sound is behind the bumper instead of under you.

ill just get the hooker catback...Im tired of having an extremely loud exhaust inside the car. For some reason I used to think louder was better but now I just want something that sounds good and flows good. Doesnt have to be extremely loud.

I helped a friend of mine put it on his 95 formula it's sounds ba. Took about 3 hours to put it in. Using my sawzaw to cut the old stuff off. The sound defenitly will turn heads when you get on it.

Car: 86 Trans Am, 88 Formula
Engine: 95LT4, 305TPI
Transmission: T56, T5
One of my friends with a 96 Trans Am put the Loudmouth on his car. His old exhaust had a cut-out and it drove him and his wife crazy when cruising at about 70mph, the entire car would resonate. The Loudmouth doesn't do that, and is quite loud when you get on it. I was driving in a tunnel next to him and when he revved it up, it was ear shattering. My brothers 96 T/A with a cut-out in the tunnel is loud, but this one seemed much louder. Cruising is fine, noise-wise.
btw, I got his old exhaust with the cut-out for $50, it's going on my car soon.

I have a loudmouth on an '02 SS. Don't let them fool you, it does resonate above 75 MPH. Put the windows down and the exhaust thrumming goes away but you have the wind to deal with. Around town is great though. Anything other than highway cruising is great. Anyone who appreciates a muscle car loves the sound. Keep in mind that it is LOUD (always, not just WOT) ,and it will get the attention of police too.

As for my 3rd gen, I'm looking to do the dual 2.5" passenger side exhaust.
