I'm goin to paint my camaro silver shortly. I beleive it'll be silver. I'm goin w/ the factory 1986 sport coupe silver or a lighter tone of silver in metallic w/ big flakes or pearl. Anybody got some silver camaros esp sport coupes can post some pics of em for me to get a rough idea of what mines gonna look like silver?

Even if they got stripes that works fine. I just want some rough ideas or pics to get mental images in my head of silver sport coupes or camaros. The custom touches like 2 tones or stripes helps because im thinkin of goin w/ stripes, 2 tone or just plain w/ pin stripes thanks guys.
So any silver camaro pics are good esp light shades of it and metallics or pearls.
Plain, striped, 2 toned or anything else.

 

I'd do gunmetal. Mayeb just me but I want to see a 3rdgen in Gunmetal with a lot of metal flake!

 

gunmetal is kinda nice prolly stick w/ silver tho who knows.

 

Here is a pic of mine. It is sebring silver metallic. .........go head and paint yours silver. It will give me one more reason to change my color to something else.

becuz I want a color that no one has on a third gen and now a lot of people have it. I'll have to get a custom color to be different

 

hey bottled did u get those headlights blackedout of are you still using the ps pic that i did.

 

If your talking about the headlamp pockets then I had them painted glossy black when th ewhole car was painted. The turn signal lights have homemade smoked light covers over them

its just mine came silver factory and i wnated to go w/ it to try cover any flaws that may show up since im not painting in the optimal location all.

i have to say tho i really love that shade its exactly what i was lookin for but it wont be the exact same close proly because thats about the same maybe lighter then what my 86 was factory.

u could move here no ones got camaros hardly n no one has silver til mine gets done then i bet they be a million of em.

thats the way it always is we was only ones to have tricked out pieces on oru s10 soon as we done em alot of tohers did then we was only ones to do a rear spoiler or wing on s10 now theres a ranger round here n prolly other s10s w/ it thats the way it alwasy goes tho.

 

Im not mad at ya. Im just busting chops here. I dont care what color you paint your car, I use a lot of ideas from other members here. Painting your car is a very big part of building up any car and the color you choose may make or break the look of your ride so make sure you get the color you want the first time around. I paid $3,000 to paint my car 2 years ago, you think Im sanding it down becuz there are a few more silver ones out there, he11 no.

well at one point I was thinking of electron blue like on the new vettes but I dont think it will look good on a 3rd gen to me.
