if not (v-belt) u dont need it.

for a/c delete just remove all a/c lines, compressor, old box, the thing in front of rad. (condensor)

They only want $38 for the pulley.....they sell on ebay for over $65 and some of them are used.....bunch of idiots are making someone rich. Gives me an idea.

Edit: MD pretty much summed it up. Taking all that crap out frees up soooo much room

Youll need a shorter belt to pull the compressor. You will still have heat. The only other thing i could thing that you could pull is the evaporator, but thats under the dash and a real pain. If you really want to pull it just follow the lines from the "canistor"/accumulator to the firewall. Its at the end of that yellow brick road.

Anyone?

What i want to do is tottaly remove the blower from the engine compartment, and the plastic shrought thats around it too. I'm thinking the heater box mounts to the underside the passenger dash. But does it still need the blower? I whent tooling around the junk yards and couldn't find one w/o AC, so i'm still pretty lost. I'd Apreciate any help.

Got the heater box in, but am having trouble with these wires. I would like to know what color wires go to which terminals on the resistors. I have the three connector (three speeds?) box with a four connector cable. Also, I suppose I still need the relay, but what the heck is the other connector??
Thanks

And the connector. I did notice it's labeled 1 2 3, so I'm thinking it's not that hard. I don't have a schematic, so I'm sucking.

i made this post a long time ago. I went and got an a c delete box and did everthing said here but ran out of funds and moved on to other things but now i want to finish hooking it up. My question is can i reuse the blower from my a/c setup because it seems that the blower is to long to fit in the delete box

The blower motor itself will work, but the squirrel cage (white plastic fan blades) is too long. I cut mine down, just because I want to get this thing done, and don't really want to wait on parts. I figure if the fan blows to pass inspection, that's all I need.
Here's how this guy did it..
