Thanks Guys

I like that pic a lot. Great job.
I was going to attempt one like that, but never got motivated.

Hey Dave,
I went with this style just for the heck of it. I will get a Ram Ain hood when I get the funds, and no, I didn't get that other T/A.
Are you interested in it?

Those are OZ Racing Monte Carlos, 17x9.5. They are wrapped with 3 bald BFG G-Force T/A KDW 275/40/17. I've got one nearly new one, so all I have to do is get three, thankfully.
One is actually flat, it's the drivers side rear tire, you can see it in the picture.

The stock one is just too flat. The vents make it look ok, but it needs something in the center to be raised a bit. That is why I want the Ram Air hood.

Well, the sound of my car was just a little 305 with the TPI, headers, 3" exhaust, custom Y, and a Crane PowerMax 2050 Cam.
it was this setup,

The LT4 should sound a lot meaner and a lot louder since I have a 3" cutout right before the axle.

I am going to run this crappy Blowmaster exhaust with the cutout open all the time.

I liked the old hood better, but it doesn't look bad at all. I can't wait for you to finish that car, its gonna be awesome.

Gotta agree with everyone.....really nice choice for the hood. Ive always loved that hood. I guess i just like it alot cause noone around has a hood like that.....it was pretty much just on the 3rd gen firebirds. I cant stand the hoods on the mitsubishi's.......the bulge that pops up but doesnt go all the way up the hood......ugly.

I think it looks decent.....but you're right when you say it needs more. I've always thought the TAs needed something on top of the hood....like the RA.

That powerbulge hood on your car zeph looks like it isn't enough. The rest of the car screams "BADASS CUSTOM"...but that hood mumbles something about "I don't belong here."

Looks good. I've always thought that a power bulge hood would look really cool mirrored down the centerline so that there are two bulges, mirror images of each other, with a gap down the center. I'm sure it can be easily done in photoshop, at least much easier than the custom work it would take to make one for real.
