I was watching Terminator 2 last night and what do i see?
A black thirdgen firebird passing by in the background. I have seen this movie many times but i have never seen that car before.

 

I can think of a few movies that have them. The Big Hit has one. Mark Whalberg drives one twords the end of the movie. It looks like a base model bird but doesn't sound like one. It gets trashed though. Badly.

I hear there is one in National Security. Hard Target has one. It's a 91-92 RS I think.

Theres on in Big Trouble in Little China. That one is a 1985 Trans-AM W/T-tops. It gets thrown into the ocean by a Semi.

Of course T2 has one. I also think there is one in Alien Nation. I am not positive on that last one. I haven't seen it for a long time.

 

Yeah i saw a documentary on tv about criminals in USA . On of them had a red Camaro, it looked like an early thirdgen.

 

Lots of movies have third gens.

I was just flipping channels and I locked onto this movie for like 2 seconds, and this Camaro RS flys into the picture had z28 rims, I was like woahhh. It was like a detective or something?

Yah the yellow Firebird in the big hit.

I saw a TransAm in a trance video I got on the computer,

Theres also an IROC-Z in some Rap video I watched, it was kinda ****ty it was like some white trash buying drugs off this black guy so it wasent the best setting for the camaro there, I think the video was by NAS.. I think..

And another thirdgen was in another rap video where it was like down to the bone.

 

there's a thirdgen in "8 Mile"

there is a thirdgen in the movie "Heat"

in the opening credits for "NYPD Blue" there is a red thirdgen camaro.

 

there was an iroc-z car chase on the movie "Who's Harry Crumb"

just saw it on Friday..

 

82 Light Jadestone Firebird S/E in "Falling down" for just a few seconds at the mga-traffic-jam scene; only a couple of hundred were ever made in that color.

82-83 Black/Charcoal Firebird S/E in Terminator 1 also, just for a second or two when the Caprice station wagon slides to a sudden stop at the sire of the street.

82 light blue T/A in Knight Rider; I forget which episode but first season.

Many many more I can't remember.

Theres an exact copy of my car the movie "National Secuirty"

 

One of the better ones was in the movie "Black Dog" it was a blue IROC late eighties with a nice looking roll cage in it. It was in a good chase seen with a Monte Carlo SS, but the IROC got smashed up a bit.

yea ive got the black dog movie. thats a sweet blue iroc. its got the 350 tpi too. i agree it does get a little banged up

 

I don't know how you can call the Camaro in Black Dog an Iroc... it didn't have any Iroc badging, only the wheels... and didn't it have the early style taillights? I didn't see anything to make me believe the car was anything more then a patched together, touched up, run of the mill RS.

If you see a thirdgen in a movie, and its painted one solid color with no GFX, chances are they patched it together from 10-15 different junkyard wrecks and painted it a color they could easily match.

The ones to watch for are the cars that have all the correct badging, striping, etc. Keep your eyes open, you'll seldom see one like that get torn up in a movie.

 

if you closly watch the blackdog movie they show a real quick rear bumper shot and it says 5.7 tuned port injection. ive paused it in that part to double check it. so it has to be an iroc

The movie DEEP COVER has a drug dealer driving up in a Black IROC...circa late 80s.\



An Vanishing Point the remake also has the jerk cops driving a 3rd Gen...not sure if it is an IROC though.

 

does anyone no of the tv show i think its called "fast lane." it has the girl from "saved by the bell" on it she and to other guys they all work as some special cop force thing. i seen a preview for next weeks show and they have a thirdgen yellow camaro in a street race/chace. just lettin all u no.

 

white TA just like mine in OFFICE SPACE...ohhh yahh!! i watch that part over and over LOL.........and yah i was pissed when they crushed that formula in gone in 60 seconds.........

 

In the movie heat they are shooting that poor thirdgen to pieces

Sorry the movies I watch aren't exactly as adventurous as yours, but it was a pretty funny movie.
