crimping universal plug wires- how?

crimping universal plug wires- how?
8mm, uncut distributor end, 90 degree elbow. I've got a wire cutter and lube, but I've got a couple questions-
do I just fold the inner wire back over the silicone and crimp the end on?
do I do this before I put it in the boot, or do I slide it all the way through first?

My last wire change, I started putting the boots on before the terminal. After a few, I discovered putting the boots over the terminals was just as easy, and overall was easier.
At least for the Summit wires I was using.

u flip the wire so it fold over the silicone like u were talkin about and then u crimpe it together with the connector they give you, then u take the lube, put alittle on the metal part and then push it into the 90* boot all the way in and then wala your done.

wires are done, definetly can't beat the clean look after cutting them yourself. Thanks for the quick answers.

Was it hard for you guys to push in the Wires into the boots after crimping ? I had to push mine in with a screw driver along the side... pushed the end (the copper pice)... they boots seemed to be way to tight, but that i think is normal... I couldn't push it with the wire becuase it was flismy... Is that how you're supposed to do it ? or did i just get something ****ty, or am i retarted and did it wrong ?

Tight is ALWAYS a good thing.
You're doing it right, but be sure to use some kind of lubricant- since the wires are silicone, a silicone spray works well, be sure to lube the metal and the wire about an inch and a half back from the end. Or use some Armor-all or any other product that's got silicone in it. I used some green bicycle grease, and got the job done alright. Heck, use some of the old lady's KY if thats all you can get ahold of.
