Ok, I don't have a pic of the "finished" box because the digital camera went dead and I didn't get the charger from the school so I will have to take more pics tomorrow. It is set up for 2 type-R 12's, but I am going to get a new amp before I get a new sub. There is 2 speaker cups, one on each side, and enuf room for another 12". The amp mounts on top, and the sub(s) face the rear of the car. I have the one type-R wired parallel cuz sony sux and cant run 1 sub bridged at 2 ohms so Its wired series at 8 ohms. It sounds just like the ol 4 ohm Aluminum cone Xplod, but it will sound way better when I get it wired the other way.

I rattle canned my gauge cluster and cd trim and it looks bad ****. I also did my hi-med-lo ****, but now it wont turn the fan up or down so I have to get some superglue and put it back on.

I think it looks pretty good...I just need to repaint the CD 1.5 din to 1 din thingy...

Looks great! But man, you gotta lose that steering wheel, it looks aweful compaired to the rest of the great looking stuff in your car. It looks like you have your headunit at least close, if not, flush mounted. Are you going to do the cupholder mods instead of the ashtray?

:hail: :hail: nice man! yah, what kind of paint is that? most silver paint i have seen fades off fast, or simply wipes off by touch.

Here are the finished pics of the box, all I have to do is carpet it and put a new amp on top BTW, I meant the amp WON'T run in parallel so I have the Type-R ran in series. Ok, here are the pics...

Top of the box, I will cover it wtih black carpet to match the carpet in my car...

The left and right sides. I set it up for two subs but then I realized if I get a one channel amp there will be no need for the other speaker cup, so...I guess if I ever sell it then its ready for anything...

The front of the box with the sub. The other sub will go right next to it (dur!)

And here is one more pic of my gauge cluster and CD trim, I really need to do sumthin with the blacklight wires/light...

hey man it looks awesome. but then again i think your car is beautiful.. the neons.. my suggestion is slice the wire and hook it to a 12v charge.. it looks tacky going into your cig lighter.. just run an inline fuse to it. yea im curious about the paint too i wanna do that!

Im looking into a new steering wheel, but I kinda like my stock wheel. The head unit is as close to flush as I could get it without removing that bracket in the back. Im not gonna do the cupholder mod, Im gonna use my ashtray to house switches for my amp(s), neons, and anything else I need on a switch.

EVERYONE ELSE

The paint color is...I don't remember, lol. I'll find out tomorrow, its to late to do it now, sorry

dude you need to ditch those neons trust me, i had them on my car for about 4 months and they just became stupid, not only that but it looks retarded as all helll with the wires running all over. matter of fact just sell your car and get a camaro with a v8 in it, why waste your time driving around in a puny v6 anyways?

Looks good man but i would of hidden that amp under the top. keep greedy eyes from wanting what you have. best way to get it stolen is showing off. no oneowuld ever know once it has carpet, would just sound like you got some good 6x9s in there.

Gumby:I thought about hiding it but I am getting a new amp hopefully soon so I didnt want to customize the box to this amp. Once I get the new amp I might hide it in the top of the box. I think it would (and hope it would to) sound better than a pair of 6x9's

89rsIMPRTETR:You come buy my car for 5 grand and put your own V8 in it so I can afford my V-8 car and the insurance. being 17, driving 50 miles back and forth every tuesday and thursday, and 100 miles every Monday, wednesday and friday, and *** knows how many miles cruizin on the weekend, my "puny" V-6 seems pretty nice to me. Not everybody needs a V-8 to have a nice fun car. You know what I pay for insurance a month? under 50 bucks. You know what it would have been with a 305? Over 120 bucks liability only. Hmmm...which do I want/afford?

sorry bro but you wouldnt get 5 grand for you car, matter of fact i wouldnt give you 4 grand, not unless your car had like 10k miles on it, i understand how insurance can be a pain in the neck, but my 89 rs with a v8 is supprisingly cheap. im only 20 and i pay 125 a month for full coverage, oh and i dont have any tickets, if you did than yah it probably would cost quite a bit more. i guess if you dont like speed just looks than yah im sure your car is great, i just for some reason cant stand v6's in camaros, it just doesnt seem right or even fair to the old classic camaros
