It's probably a piece the chevy design team came up with just to make it look "more advanced" for a photo shoot. If you look at the seams, it's a cover that goes over the stock bumper cover and nose gfx.. and it's designed poorly, at that.. (EDIT: this is not to knock the chevy design team's work. I've seen some of their "on a whim, for the hell of it, one-of-a-kind" stuff, and it's GOOD work.. this is more "on a whim, for the hell of it, one-of-a-kind have it on the car before we close today" things).. But I do agree that it looks evil

Chances of finding one? Slim to none, leaning towards none. Chances of successfully fabricating something similar? Decent.

Wow, that does look good. Fits well with the lines of the car.

Only thing I don't like is the way it curves from the nose ot the fender. Too smooth, and looks like it's bent wrong. Could just be the lighting in the picture though.

I need a new nose here, and that would be a cooler replacement than stock. Doubt it's for sale though. Anyone think there might be enough interest in this nose to push this idea on an aftermarket body panel place? (Maybe a sponsor here?")

hmm... i'd need to see it with the rest of the car. the nose looks cool, but how does it look with the car overall?

i agree with you, vexter. i mean, it looks good in that picture, but our thirdgens already have a long front overhang, and that nose just adds to it. also, think about it...we already have enough problems bottoming out as it is, something like that would take a punishment

anyone remember... "Battle Star Galactica"? that front end reminds me of the "Zilons".. they were the robot guys.

that end is hideous.. not to mention it looks like some kinda "down syndrome" thirdgen.

might as well call the damn thing " The Corkey Iroc"

(corkey, the down syndrome kid from "life goes on")

yeah i watched too much TV as a kid.

i'm forced to agree, looks kinda strange, but it might be the camera angle.

BTW, just thought i'd bring this thread to your attention, Irocfan (dunno if you want your real name used on the net or not)

Anyone notice the louvers in that hood? looks like they have been added....they look JUST like the 80-81 Z28 Fender Louvers...but in the hood....here is what the louvers look like...but..looks like that they have put installed in the hood....pretty cool idea...

That would be sweet to mount a pair of 80/81 louvers towards the front of the hood, similar to a 4th gen Formula hood. I think you've got an awesome idea with putting it in the fender, when do you suppose you'll dive into that project?

Well..i have 2 weeks of school left....if the weather stays nice.....that's when I'm going to dive into it. I'll post plenty of pictures on the thread about the installation...so...stay tuned.
