I think this might look pretty good, but I like the newer style SS hoods more. There is a company that makes the new hood scoop in a separate piece that could be molded into a regular hood.

I like it about as much as the Ram air 2 hood on Camaros. Speaking of the Ram Air 2 hood. I have seen that hood made for trucks, Civics, PT Cruisers, and Impalas. Is nothing sacred.
The SS hood on a Bird looks ok, but not natural. the Tear drop shape doesn't match the hood lines that well.

despite the naysayers, i am going to pursue this idea.
I've spoken to Rex a few more times since I last posted, he's working on some hood designs for the 04 Grand Prix's right now, but he said he'll get down to looking at "my idea" afterwords. I'm excited, and I completely disagree with Nolan and DevianB, I think these hoods will look great on firebirds.
I also thing ram air 2 hoods look good on camaros.. i mean, take a look at sonar_un's camaro and tell me it doesn't look good.

I am more like to idea when
"Adam62083" post the photo, go for it "theSteve", it is shame that even Rex make the kind of hood but I still can't buy one because I live in Taiwan, the shipping will kill me, maybe I have to custom one!!
The Ram air II looks good from the front but not other side, I think this SS hood will look great each side!!!!
