Trunk Lid Brake Light Bulbs

Anybody got a part number and source for them?

I need to replace all five on my 91 vert.

Thanks in advance.

I replaced three in mine a while back, I looked at radio shack, but I think they were either out of stock, or they didn't carry them. I don't remember. You might have better luck there. If all else fails, I ended up getting mine from the dealership. Sorry, but I don't have the part numbers anymore.
Hope this helps,
-Corey

I don't have the P/N either, but the lamp assembly (and bulbs) are the same on all 1988 - 1992 Camaro convertibles and 1987 - 1990 hardtops with the rear spoiler.

Thanks guys.
I stumped AutoZone, Car Quest, Advance Auto Parts and NAPA yesterday.

These bulbs are old school. They are miniture, but they have two 16-18 ga or so, solid wires coming out of the bottom, like christmas lite bulbs.

I found them this morning. Guess where.

WALMART.

They're halogen even. Problem? They're $6.89 a piece and i need 5 of them. I'll just stick the lens back in as a reflector first.

I'm gonna keep looking. I'll try Radio Shack next.

Thanks for the advice,
Christopher.

if you pull out a bulb, you can take it to lowes or home depot and compare them to what they have..

i forget what they were orignally for but they fit in there and work.
plus they're cheaper

like Willie said, they're the same bulbs as the coupes with the spoiler, so a search should turn up lots of results

the other option to never replace them again, is to get some jumbo ultra bright LEDs and modifiy the housing to accept about 10 of them across....

Thanks everybody.
Especially MrDude1.

What a phenomenal response to a query that stumped ALL the local Auto Parts stores.

This place [and the people in it] rocks!

Grateful,
Christopher.
