Finished My Ram Air Hood - - - Pics Inside - - - !!!

Here she is. I hated how the back of the hood was finished, so I added on an extension, and also sealed both the top and bottom together, so there are no visible seams...NO HOOD PINS FOR ME!! Please give you opinions...

I'm in a northwest suburb of Chicago....sure would like to see that finished product in person. I'll be getting my RamAir hood (not painted) and would like you to chime in on your approach to finishing/painting it.

Thanks for the compliments guys!!! To answer a few questions, Yes, I prepped/painted/color sanded all myself. Took some time, but the outcome is very rewarding.

Thirdgen Fest, where is that at? I don't know if I'll be done w/ all my other mods by then, but I might be able to hold off and come by if time permits...

Keep the comments rolling

Thanks!

I used Dupont Chromabase/ChromaClear system. In essense though, it's not the paint, yet alone, how it's prepared/sanded/buffed...

I did 3 coats base, 4 coats clear...perfect combo

The grills, they came w/ the hood, so, just airbrushed inside them and around them...
