My new C5 brakes

For those not lurking in the brakes forum where there are a few pics of my new brakes (and a thread about the conflict with my 17" TT2s) - here is my new setup with Z06 calipers and drilled/slotted rotors.

Brackets and the gathering of all necessary parts to create a complete kit - is courtesy of Ed Miller. Absolutely great to deal with!!

Thanks guys!!

85VortecTA & nick418,
They added up to right around $1K. That included absolutely everything I needed to get them on without cores. So it would've been less if I modified the stock parts or at least returned them to Ed, but to me that really wasn't an option since Im in Europe. So I got exactly what I wanted (a 100% complete bolt-on kit) and it was worth every penny!

Air_Adam,
Hehe...I figured someone would comment on that LOL. Im actually surprised no one has brought up the beat up Opel in the background

looks good

better watch where you place your stands where that one is placed will bend you quarter panel as there is no real support in there. should go further under to the frame channel or the lower a arm.

car looks very nice. what size rims are on there that rotor realy fills it up.

super_kev,
Those are Jamex 1.5" lowering springs

JeffW,
The stand is sitting right on the brace next to the stock jack support. It's not going anywhere Thanks though!!

I have posted in another thread about C5 brakes. The performance difference over stock is unreal Almost never need to do more then a light press on the pedal to haul down from ludicrous speed! I cannot promote this mod enough. Anyone considering it will not be dissapointed.

So far I am running the J65 proprtioning valve. I have LS1's on the rear and am wondering if anyone has tried different P valves and which one works best... New thread coming
