to me it looks like a really nice car, i can see some of the blemishes and stuff but it doesnt look that big. the interior looks really nice! and 13.2's arent bad either for a basically stock motor with a SC slapped on top.

...but for 14 grand? ..yeah right..

lol..what a joke. Let's bolt on a SC and boost up the price of our car by $8k! Look at the engine bay..so damn filthy.

Anyway..there are many nicer cars that can be had for that same price...check out this one... If I was looking for a thridgen..this would be it.

The only thought that goes through my mind, is what is making this car the real one from the Full Throttle show. It could be someone with an MSD, a SC, and a nice exhaust trying to sell his white IROC for in inflated price.

I guess if someone did a CarFax they would then know if it was the real deal.

WERD.

I was thinkin the same exact thing Steve. The engine bays on the show was 10x cleaner then that. I thinks its a complete HOAX. And the owner wants to make more money out of it.

I emailed the seller and he added a note in the ad saying it's a L98. He also lowered the reserve and Buy It Now prices.

Shoulda asked him why he's selling it and where the other car is. That is definetly the real car, all you gotta do is compare it to the car from the show detail for detail to see. The show was done before the series was aired on TV of course and there has been enough time for it to not be as clean as it was and for there to be little differences. You just knew those fools wouldn't keep them. The other guys really should have won the whole thing.

The price is lowered and the car has quite a few things done to it of course. It was also featured on a show so the price is gonna be higher than usual. This was the one that went the fastest and made the most power. It'd be kinda cool if a Member of TGO bought it!

Very good point my friend, I gotta say this came across coloradof-body.com teh same day it did here and even the guys with the 4th gens went nuts, these people dont even like thirdgens at all they talk crap about all 6 thirdgen owners on cofb and yet tehy were like wtf 14k for a car with under a handfull of mods. I could find cars going low 11's for a few grand cheaper

If you could read well, you would have seen I already added to to item description....
And I will sell this car for what I have the reserve set at. Because this car is a rarity. Only 2 cars were on the show full throttle.
Do not email me again, you are a waste of my time "

Well now he's done it. As far as I am concerned, the car isn't worth more than maybe 4-5 G... He said that magic word that proves how little he/she knows about what they are selling.... Can you guess what magic word I am referring too... ?

Unless you own one of these 2 vehicles..., though shalt not use the word.. "rare" and "thirdgen" in the same sentence.

Since NO ONE here owns either of these vehicles.. then we havent the right to claim "rarity". (I've been reamed on this one before.. take my word for it. )

Well, Rare can be decided by time as well. I have an 88 Camaro Convertible SC, originally 1859 that is a LOW number. Now after 17 years I guarantee we are under a thousand. I would bet we are under 500... How many "Rare" cars are out there that say 1 of 500. Now right out of the gun Firehawks ARE rare... However, just because a TV show made it doenst mean it is rare.

There are "rare" regular production Third Gens and cars that will be rare in the years to come. People just don't realize.

i have a question..

is a car that was on 'pimp my ride" rare? i mean, after all, there is only one car like that now.

going by that method of thought...i guess most cars on here are "rare"...i mean i have yet to see a car exactly like mine....and mine is pretty much stock.

Rare (atleast on this board) is defined as an option code that was available on less than 1 or 2000 (or even less) vehicles.

I think what your referring to could be better described as "unique"
