****BADASS91B4C**** Might have a bad one here. Hopefully it works out........

Got a minor set back with BADASS91B4C. He sold me, for $45.00 shipped, a stock throttle body. He even posted a pic in our beloved forum to help aid in the sale. Lo and behold, a stock throttle body was sent but missing the TPS and IAC and coolant plate at the bottom. I have all the correspondence back and forth between us but will keep them hidden from public view in case he finally becomes an adult and gets the problem solved. Otherwise, i will be forced to air out all the dirty laundry to everyone so as not to put anyone else through this again. You will see then what type of person you are dealing with here.

Keep ya posted...

dakleenupman is one person out of the many items that I have sold that has had a problem with me. he didnt ask enough questions about the throttlebody he bought and was upset when it didnt come with sensors and wanted me to lose out on money to have it sent back. that didnt sound fair to me. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING! He is obviously upset about it but I dont think its fair for me to lose out on money because of it. i hope this doesn't keep others from buying off me! I have plenty of satisfied customers check my "parts for sale" posts and you will see the truth!

According to you, you don't care about me leaving bad feedback because this is not the only place to sell stuff so why look even worse by trying to make me out to be the bad guy? All you needed to do was stick by what you originally said and return my money. I even offered to lose half the shipping to get this resolved. You want to make it more than it needed to be. Now everyone knows.

I call it like I see it. I would've even continued to buy from you had you have been adult enough and recognize that you made an error in selling and made an even worse error by not resolving it in a fair manner.

Here is a different analogy for you as my cheeseburger thing was not correct:

You walk into McDonalds and see a BigMac in a picture with all the things a BigMac should have right? You order and pay for the BigMac and when they give it to you, the lettuce is missing. It is in the picture so it MUST be included right? So what is your recourse of action? You ask for either the lettuce or your money back. That is what you would do. How is this or I any different? Other than we are talking about food...........

You posted the pic, you failed to mention you were keeping the sensors and coolant plate. You blame ME for not asking you what was included EVEN THOUGH you posted the pic. How is this my fault? Why should I lose money as well? I already told you, in an effort to keep the slate clean, I would pay half for the shipping to get it back to you. How is that so difficult? Maybe i should ask if lettuce will be on my BigMac next time...................

Give me a break!

This is and you know it. You are in you early 20's and so I will give you some slack but it is now time to grow up, get out from underneath daddy and correct issues like a man, not a boy.

I post it like it is. Look at all the other POSITIVE posts I have left. Everyone on here has been good to me. I am sure you have been good to all you have served too but we have a problem and it must be solved. I told you before, YOU are in control of what happens. YOU make the decision but beware, YOU also must live with that decision.

ANYONE THINK I AM COMPLETELY OFF BASE HERE? WOULD YOU ALL NOT WANT THE SAME?

And to think, $7.50 (half the shipping) has caused you all this. What a shame. You know, I read in one of your posts that those you have sold to are satisfied, and maybe so. BUT, I am not and I would have been if you did not do the "bait and switch" on me by not fulfilling your agreement to sell what was in the pic. BOY do I wish you would have told me you were keeping the sensors. Seeeing as you the seller have the responsibility to represent what it is EXACTLY you are selling. Go and see what praise I have left for others who have done it right. Go and check eBay for my account and see what sellers AND buyers have said about me. That, my friend is how it should be done. Not this childish: "oh, I just can't satisfy someone whom I lied to by losing $7.50 worth of shipping. I may not be able to afford my lunch at school for a day or two!" Maybe you can use this as a learning experience. When it is all said and done, maybe you will still feel the need to even own a car much less sell parts from them...........

If the picture showed all that other stuff and he told you he was selling the throttlebody in that picture, then everything in the picture should be included. If not, it should have been stated in the add that things from the picture would be missing. Or if the part he was selling was not the part in the picture, that should have been staed as well and no assumptions should have been made. We are buying things over the Internet here, all we have to go by is the picture and what the seller wrote. The "you should have asked more questions" reply is weak, and I kind of consider it a scam. Seller should ask himself this question: When you buy a part through a catalog sight unseen and that part requires other parts to complete the install, it is always clearly noted that there are seperate parts needed to complete the install. Think about it.

But, here is the pic you posted to sell the throttle body. You sold it based on this pic and you were very "MISLEADING" to post it but not include everything that is "CONNECTED" to the throttle body. You made a mistake, it happens, but you shouldn't try to justify it by saying "You should ask questions" If this were ebay you would lose and "dakleenupman" would win his claim.

Here is the BBK throttle body you were talking about. Notice they don't show you anything in the pic that you won't receive.

ator, thanks for the input. He knows he did wrong but unfortunatelt there will be no correcting this on his part. It is shame too. I might have bought more stuff from him and definitely would have recommended him to others. Now all he has are people who might not trust him but will continue to buy from him( I guess that is all you really need to sell stuff online...........). Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else he deals with. After this episode, I don't think it will.

Yes, the you should have asked more questions and the everyone knows when you buy a TB it does not come with the sensors lines are what killed me too.

The line about it not being fair that he should lose money on the shipping just about had me in tears!!

End result? I am out $45.00 for something I just cant use. I don't own a boat so there goes the boat anchor theory........ hehehehe

Later!

Dakleenupman,

Is that TB for '89-92? If so, PM me a price, I might buy it from you to bore out.

My emails not working so good these days, so a PM is best.
