Anybody buy anything off these people? If so, was the product worth the money? Thank you.

I bought a hood and a 4th gen spoiler and I love them both great quality work. I would definitly buy from them again I had no fitment problems. and evry thing was ready for paint I had to do very little sanding be for paint work.

Is the GTA Fiberglass spoiler really worth 400.00 bucks though? It seems so much for just a factory spoiler for such little fiberglass. Heck, ASCD sells entire fiberglass hoods for 425.00

I thought I only payed 350 for the spoiler that is the same price acd whant for theirs but they only have the origanel not the forth gen style. I bought hood and spoiler from them at once so I payed 840 for every thing but did not have to have it shipped I was their on vacation and just picked it up.

The quality is the best you'll find, and if you see how much GM gets for one of their bio-degradable stock spoilers, you'll think $400 is a steal.

As with my rubber spoiler it started cracking and i bought a fiberglasss one from GTAA....i thought it was a good deal and it fit well, but the fiberglass has cracked in certain areas and i have been trying to contact GTAA for awhile now about it and can't ever get a hold of them. I would get something in writing when purchasing it. Just hope they don't sell you a crappy spoiler, check it when you get it for defects...mines defective and they won't replace it.

Hey GT Auto....bite us!!! Your spoilers are overpriced. Drop the price to $200 and you'll sell a ton of them. We aren't building $20,000 cars here. They are only going to be worth so much when complete. It's ridiculous to spend a 1/4 of your restoration money on a spoiler.

Have you guys checked around they every company that builds these spoilers all sell for the same price exsept the origanal gm its like 1500 new so their price is not bad and Iv never had aproblem with thier service as for what are cars are worth if you are building a third gen to try and sell it and make $$$ you picked the wrong car I have well over 20,000 in my car and I know it is only worth abought 3000 if I was to trade it in on somthing and I probly would naver even be able to sell it out write for more then 8000. The first thing you guys have to realize with these cars is you have to buoild them becouse you like that body style and plan on never getting rid of the car. Face it most of are cars will sell for more if we part them out then as a whole.

OK I stand corrected...Earl 87GTA is building a $20,000 dollar car. The rest of us would like to see the price come more in line with other spoilers. I'll start a poll and we'll see. I'll eat my words and apologize publicly if the results show that people are willing to pay this much for the aerospoiler.

hey mtccl
The spoilers range(WITH SHIPPING) from $425-$475 in the US depending on the shipping address. this is a very large spoiler so check around for spoilers of the same size. Also check on shipping a box that is 64x44x5 go to fedex.com and put in this size and my zip is 33990
I use fedex or truck freight no one else will ship this size box. When you check into this you will see that over one third of the price is for shipping ! sorry if it is not in your budget.

I got my hood shipped FEDEX from California to Alabama in 3 days for $82.00. That hood is larger and heavier than your spoiler. No it is not within my budget. I can't see as where that spoiler costs more to make than the 91-92 IROC spoiler that is available for less than $200 from several dealers. For the difference I'll go to a 4th gen junkyard and get a 4th gen aerowing for $250. Your jumping on that guy really touched a nerve on me. I thought from the first time I contacted you that your wings are way overpriced. Unfortunately, the $1500 piece of junk price GM is selling has convinced others that your price is good. Well it isn't and I hope yours sit and collect dust until you have to beg people to buy them.

I went to the FEDEX website and read all the instructions. Your spoiler would be sent FEDEX Ground as an Oversize 2 (OS2) package. For this category you calculate the dimensional weight of the package (64x44x5)/194=72.57 lbs. Assuming the spoiler weighs less than this then this is the rate that the spoiler would ship at. Rate is $23.75 + 5.18 oversize charge = $28.93......

Sorry 91bird305, but this topic is out of hand and has lost your intent.

Mtccl, you are not a customer of GTAA, so why are you piping in? If you don't like the price, don't buy it. At least offer an alternative. Otherwise pipe down.
