well there is one more thing, the stereo system, if i didnt have so much invested in the stereo i could have it really fast, i got about 2,000 in the stereo system, it has to rockford xlc 12' 400 watt subs, a 500 watt rockford amp and a 400, rockford 4x6 100 watts, rockford 3 way 6x9 200 wattts, it makes my friends have headaches and they begg me to trun it down, it make my radar deterctor dance, and my mirrors shake so at night time all i see is the headlight bouncin, and my headlights dim, its crystal, clear, and the whole system is rockford
Sweet, i know from personal experience stock 3rd gen systems are horrible, i'm currently buyin stuff to put in mine, so far i have a panasonic head unit 50 wattx4 with the blue display, and alpine 6x9's the next thing to go is the 4x6's i blew one of them last night

No offense to anyone, just wondering, but what's the point for having so much invested in a stereo system, I mean I understand the stock ones suck, but do you really need to have stuff shaking in order to hear music, I think it makes it sound like crap. Personally I would rather spend a little on the stereo and the rest on performance and appearance, but I guess that's just me.
To each his own mark, i actually only have $600 in my steroe as is but it'l prolly end up being closte to $1200 when i'm finished. I'm not goin for the shakin windows thing like dan is, i just want a crisp clear sound, all i need now is some 4x6's, tweeters and maybe a 200 watt or so amp. no thumpers for my baby

Nice car, looks real clean man.
As for investing tons of money into a stereo, I agree with Mark. I'd rather get my car too look good and be fast before I rattle the hell out of it with subs. I only plan on replacing the stock speakers and getting and amp and replacing the Kenwood head unit I already have. I'm the oppoiste of you Dan, I'd rather hear the music than have everyone within 100 feet feel it. But to each his own.
