I'll start by saying I'd like to avoid shipping this.
This is an aftermarket 82-92 Camaro or Firebird fiberglass rear notchback hatch. I had it on my T/A for a while. I did a little work to get it ready for paint, but have since changed plans. They are made by Hawks Thirdgen in South Carolina. "These are designed to fit any 82-92 however, each car may require more adjustments than others." This one fit my car quite well. I'm open to offers, but please be reasonable.

The window wasn't put in. I was cut a bit small and we never got around to it.
I suppose I'd need a window to replace this, but I'm not looking for much else in the way of thirdgen stuff right now. I plan on parting the car out and working on something else.

 

Any offers? Used to be a pretty coveted part around these parts.

Well what I was thinking of making it a 2 seater conversion. I would take the truck panel and roof cover off and use this piece mounting it so that the rear window would be just behind the front seats.. would still be able to have the roof go up and down as usual but instead of having a seperat piece for the tunk and roof it wold b one big cover.. taking out some of the body lines and giving it a real custom look while the top is down and yet look stock with the roof up..might have to make a trip down to nc.. hmm gatta talk to the wife bout this and ill let u know..

I really didn't even think about it before I posted that random stuff, but it makes perfect sense now. Summit catalog to order some go-fast goodies, hairdryer to dry the mull et quickly, and since winter is here, gotta dig the third gens out of snow.

I have a notch back ...but the problem is ..its to light and will not seal right ...when it rains it leaks and makes a pool in the back ... How heavy is yours?? dose it seal ?? and would you be willing to meet ??? some where around roanoke V. I live in Toledo Ohio...its right on the Ohio/ Mich line....
