CUSTOM Grid-Style LED tail lights
***** SOLD*****
Finally getting around to parting out my 89 RS. I got a set of grid style tail lights that I fitted with some LED boards for a 100% custom look. This isn't just an LED bulb, it's circuit boards with LEDs soldered in! Turn, tail, stop, it all works. Just never did the reverse lights.
Only draw back: You can see in the pictures that on the pass side light, there is one row of lights that isn't working. I suspect that a resistor is bad, i tried to diagnose it further but I just dont have the time. Also, on the driver side, there is a board that is dead. Again, it could be something as simple as a solder connection came loose. I made these things years ago and cannot remember much of the project.
I bench tested them at my work, so I know they are fully operational. They have wired ends coming off of the lights, so it's not exactly "plug and play". I tried that a while back, but found it was better to have a more permanent connection.
Many hours invested, $200 obo!

make me an offer. still fully functional custom LED tail lights. I have seen a couple of guys on here make these, but definitely not something you can buy off a shelf

Repaired the two bad connections and full set is operational. Waiting on my STS set up and will get these babies mounted into their "new" lenses. Thanks
