Yes I've got the 3.73 gear and the 28 Spline axles are 90-92 or 93-02. ( I don't have any spare 28 spline, 9-bolt axles at the moment. )

Alright I need the 28 spline for the 90-92 and the 3.73 gears. I just payed for a zexel torsen so I need some gears with it lol

i have a 95 rearend outta a formula in my 82z. its a 10 bolt 2.73 posi. would the 3.42 gears work?

using the parts you've got now..... Yes/NO.
It's possible, but only by using a "spacer". I have never used a spacer for the rear gear-set and would not recomend thier use.
Your well advised to use your existing rear end housing with a 3-series carrier that's made for 3-series gears. ( 3.23 to 4.11 gear )
