My low profile sub box
So my goal for the car is to keep it as stock looking as possible But I really wanted a sub in it . After lots of debating I decided to go with it . My plans were to make it very clean and to blend in with the rest of the interior. So here it is .
It was a very tight fit . I literally had to use a couple pry bars to shoe horn it in . It fits perfectly though .
For the time being I will be using a cheap 250w sony explode amp I have laying around til I get the funds to pick up something a little better . It is just tossed in there now but I will be making some kind of amp rack when I do decide which amp I will be going with permanently.
And for the finished product . I love the way it turned out. it sounds great too even with the stock head unit (which is staying ) and the temp amp.

Great job! You could go a little farther and still look almost stock with a cover flush with the floor of the cargo area. It would protect the woofer and whatever else would be under it. Here's an idea of what you could do, this one is made from expanded metal and covered with carpet.
The underside of the cover
And with it installed over the amp and woofer
BTW, nice choice for your woofer here's what this cover hides

Yea tht looks pretty sick too part of my design was so it would have good acoustics too with the hole left on the right it gives the port on the box mor room to flow and the glass hatch just launches the sound to the front haha

Re: My low profile sub box
That is pretty cool the way that cover hides everything .
