And well all know that the Bose was offered in third gen's all the way to the 1992 models. And into the 4th gen's too.

This car has been relisted on ebay. It was at $55,000. There is another outrageously priced '82 Z28 on Craigslist. I think in the northwest somewhere. Anyway it's an LG4, 4spd car with 1,700 miles on this one, and they want high 30's for that car.

Do a google search for Matt Garrett car collection and you'll see that this guy has a lot of low mile, very nice cars. A friend of mine called him to talk about this car and he was told that he has had a few offers for not much less than his asking price. I'm not sure if that's believable or just a sales tactic. Let the caller know you have many interested parties close to the asking price and convince him that the price is reasonable, so buy it now before one of the others do.

He also has a 1987 IROC-Z in dark red metallic that looks just like my car. I need to call him about it and see what he wants for it.

My friend decided to buy a car last week after talking to Matt Garrett. He bought an '87 in Dark red metallic with tan interior. It has leather and plenty of options. The best feature is the car has 257 miles!!!!

257 miles!!!? has that engine been broken in? wow that's insane to find a car with that kinda a milage and close to 30 years old! I'm sure it still has that new car smell still preserved!...
IROC is pretty but 48k? if that's what it's going for then i would rather be looking to buy a TTA or a convertible thirdgen with high options. Just my opinion.

Always loved this car. It was for sale at Buds about 5 years ago for $25k. Then was posted a year or two ago for $32500 on cars-on-line.

I watched the last few auction so I could see the offers when it ended. He got multiple $30k offers.

He also had a gorgeous black / black 89 GTA with sub 1k miles and an 89 GTA gunmetal hardtop with 6k miles.

I watch the prices on the IROCs pretty closely. Really nice very low mile IROCs are just starting to push through the $20, 000 mark if near perfect. It's hard to say what this IROC is worth since it's such a low mileage example compared to other high priced IROC's that generally have at least a few thousand miles on the clock. That being said, I think he's $10 to $15K too high at $48K for this car. At a big car auction like Mecum, I'd be surprised if he got much more than $30 -$35K for it.
