Would this make for a good breathing combination?

I'm researching some parts to get a bit more out of my car. It started with me just wanting to ceramic coat my headers, which then led to an auto to 5 speed swap, now I want heads, a bigger cam, and a better intake. Again, I just wanted to ceramic coat my headers...which I did. Anyway I was looking at these heads:

Trick flow heads: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...ions/year/1987

or

Summit heads: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...2108/overview/

A comp 08-502-8 cam: http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=195&sb=2

And either a FIRST, TPIS, or Edelbrock 3890 runners and lower. To be honest, I'm leaning to the Edelbrock. For one, I like the look of the TPI, and it appears to be a direct bolt on. From what I understand the FIRST requires all sorts of modding to get it to fit, and the TPIS needs fuel rails and I don't know what else. I also do not race this car. It's just a street rod for me so I don't want or need some high RPM screamer. Just wondering what you think of that setup?

Anything (pretty much...) that says, "Edelbrock" on it is basic junk.

That's not true at all. I'm not Edelbrock's biggest fan, but making a blanket statement that all their stuff is junk is dishonest and misleading.

That being said, the Edelbrock base does not outflow the stock base unless you port it. I have an Edelbrock base on my GTA that I ported and it handily outflows an unported Accel base. Do a search on here about the Edelbrock base and how much it flows and you'll see what I mean.

Re-read the post, because you have not done so.

They way I read it you are calling everything Edelbrock makes junk. Care to add some additional clarity for us egg heads with poor reading comprehension? Obviously you're an expert all their products so please enlighten us.

Edelbrocks quality has gone down over the years.
