VHT Nite-Shades. Go as light or as dark as you want.

Those were the same "crystal clear" park lights from e-Bay.

And the same lights coated with Nite-Shades...

^^^Those look good but I would be concerned about dimming the lights. I'm interested in these smoked diamond cut parking lamps also.

I took this just after the one up top. Amber lights are still quite visible behind the lens.

Re: smoked turn signals ?

I got the clear ones as well. I was in the same situation as to not finding the smoke ones as well. I settled for the clear ones and now the more pics I see of them the more i like them and if i want the smoke ones I will night shade them

Al,

How many coats of night shade did you use? Your setup looks good, it gives the car a stealthy look.

I can't say for sure. Maybe 3 or 4 thin coats. I kept going until I could barely see the back of the housing through the tint. I lightly scuffed the lens and made sure every thing was clean, used a space heater to bring the pieces to a good temperature and heated the spray can in hot water (a couple of tricks I learned from building plastic models)

Re: smoked turn signals ?

Just a little information: Federal ODOT law require turn signals to have clear or yellow lenses. Just another way for the car to look cool and you getting a ticket.
