GM RamJet hood clearance

Has anyone used a GM RamJet manifold? I'm wondering if there is enough room between the manifold and the hood for my strut-tower brace. I'll be using a stock flat hood.

I've seen the magazine article where GM had a RamJet in a yellow Camaro, but it didn't have a STB.

I would say no, judging by the dimensions. The Ramjet is 9.75" tall and my Edelbrock STB is about the same height and slightly contacts the underhood padding.

I have the Ramjet system in my car. It does not clear
the stock Camaro hood. I had to cut a few braces in the
hood just to clear it. A few people here said that it does
clear easily, but most said it does not. I guess it depends
if you are using stock or poly. motor mounts, factory or
aftermarket K-members, etc. I have poly. motor mounts
with factory K member.

P.S. There is NO way to use the Ramjet intake AND
the strut tower brace under a factory Camaro hood.
You would probably need at least a 4" cowl hood to
clear both. Plus the strut tower brace would need to
be shimmed up to clear the Ramjet intake. Even with
a cowl hood, the strut brace mounts on the strut towers
may not even clear if they are shimmed up.

The motor comes with ECM. You can buy that motor anywhere.
You can buy any GM performance motor anywhere. Places like
Summit, Jeg's, etc. Even your local dealer can order it. But
the dealer WILL gouge ya. The cheapest place I found was
Jeg's, at the time. Summit now sells it for about the same price.
The whole setup , including the T-56 swap was A LOT!!!!
