Ram Air Hood

Is there any ram air hood that is more like the 4th gen ram air.

I mean, the ASCD hood has a big wall right in front of the windshield. the 4th gen SS is much better integrated.

Yeah, I know what you mean...I didn't like that "Wall" either, so I fabricated my own extension piece...About the only way to get what you want...

That's the exact reason I'm going with a true cowl hood.

not sure what you mean by big wall on back

is it suppose to be like a open cowl?

i dont see anything different with the fabbed up piece? what exactly did you do?

there is two ram air hoods. 93-97 style and 98+ WS6 style

ws6 style is fine looking in my opinion

I extended the back face by roughly 4" and angled it back down to the original piece....see how the back of mine angles back? The original hood, instead of being angled, was just a 90* "wall"....just like a blank piece...doesn't look finished...

i cant tell what you did, cuz it looks like it came from the factory like that! LOL

Good job on that tho, nice work, the hood looks good and so does the car. I guess i need to see what the stock Ram air hood looks like to compare to yours and see the difference.
