I don't think its that bad. I actually find it pretty creative that someone would make a Viper replica body to fit on a Thirdgen. You might not like it, but at least give the guy credit thinking a bit outside of the box.

Whether you agree with it or not, at least it looks like it was built right. I think it is a good utilization of a third gen if you ask me.....not only are there a million of these things around...the less that are on the road and in good shape goes one step further in making ours worth more.

Its not a big deal to me about how much our cars are worth its what i put into it. What about 15 yrs down the rd and some unexpected tragedy happens to your thirdgen and so your lookin for another decent one and you either have to pay a ton of cash or buy a rust bucket. Unless you have had your car appraised for all you have in it.

I don't think it's half bad for what it is. *shrug*

Though I don't know why people get whole car kits to make it look like another car. Be a little more creative. Dang.

See your point in being more creative than replicating a car already out there. If you think about by the time you figure of the cost of materials, tools, and labor he probably could have bought a crap viper.

Be more interesting lets say if the guy designed a entirely different car, and built a kit for it. Not bad work though.

by a few feet

Might have some potential as a project if you shortened it, lowered it, and figured out why it's cocked

But as it sits right now it's a limo-viper-truck wanna-be, and it doesn't do any of the three well.

so by finishing it, that will shorten it and close up that horrendous wheel well gap? The body is almost sitting on the ground already from what the pics show.

Car: 1987 Camaro SC
Engine: 2.8L MPFI (rebuilt)
Transmission: 700R4 swapped to T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 open
from the auction: "the front sits up because there is no engine or trans in it "

That's just primer too. Prolly look a lot better when it is painted. Not my stlye but I can apreciate the amount of work that went into it. Looks well done.

I don't see the point of replicating a car that you can just go buy.
