It's known as the "Japanese Camaro" if you do a search under that it should bring up the guy's website.....just make sure you understand Japanese .

And, no, as far as I know he is not a member.

They are VOLK gt-P's I believe. Yes, "ric er" wheels but strong as hell and better quality than most American stuff available for our cars. I think they are 8" wide by 17". The front end of that car also has a black painted extension of the front grill that looks really well with the orange and rear wing. There are more pics of that car as well as a white iroc in a garage with those wheels on it. Nice taste those guys have. Now only if they can bring over their carbon fibre hoods for under $2K!!

I totally agree.. just because something is japanese doesn't automatically mean its r*ce.. volks are performance oriented wheels just like bbs, fikse, and whatever other brands you can come up with...

Alright, so it doesn't look like I started the whole idea of these Volk wheels on this car being considered ri-ce, no I did not mean that as a comment from myself. The plain fact that these wheels are made in Japan would cause some people to consider them to be "ri-ce", which is why I put that term in " " . Don't want this to turn into another thread where people get all bent out of shape over this topic!! And for the record, yes I drive a 2002 WRX that will smoke 85% of the cars on this particular website, and no it is not stock. So yes, I like "ri-ce" for sure.

That orange is beautiful. I also like what he did with the front valence. I can't tell if its just painted or actually modified.

i dont see the shifter either... but another weird thing about that same car, the whole roll cage is bolted together... thats kinda weird. and also whats funny is he has the trunk "cover thing" still in the car, but it wont work with the roll cage. and he can no longer open up the little compartment back there either...
also a nice frotn veiw of the inverted cowl hood without the extra two scoops on the side either...

I think i see what hes talkign about, but i disagree that its a shifter ****. i think its just a rib or rinkle in the shifter boot, that is hanging down...

That pic we've been puzzling over isn't of the Japanexe car. It is a pic in omnipotentgoku's posted link. I just thought it was wierd that it has no shifter is all. The pic you posted is of the Japanese car......dif cars...

Thats one of the most insane buildups Ive ever seen on a third gen. It puts my work to shame for sure! They got a nice team going. If you notice in those pics its a group of dudes working on the third gen. Thats the only way to build it right and in a short amount of time. Anyone want to team up and build awesome third gens?
