looks sweet, but the last few will get deleted because of the 3 pics per post rule. I'd try and host them offsite somewhere and you'll be able to keep them up.

you can put 295/50's on the iroc wheel. i am. 27.6" tall so it's a bit more than most people want, and it has a bit more sidewall bulge than most like for handling, but i'm not building my car to carve corners. it's going to be built to look great crusing on the street and be able to really throw down at the dragstrip when i got my d/r's on.

Yes the 285/40/18 are taller they stand at 26.98 inches tall and the 315/35/17's are 25.68 inches tall.

The measurements are incorrect because all tires are different hieghts depending on brands...both the 285/40/17 and the 315/35/17's on my car are basically the same hieght and i'll post a pic of the measurements. to prove it ....so here ya go also here's the lowest hieght of the exhaust and it's really tucked up, I've seen people running at the lowest like 2- 1/2 to 3" and that's really pushing it. I've never had a problem with bottoming out with this set up...

rear measurement. I think that the rear is short by about a centimeter, but also the rears are drag radials so those tires while driving, the height of the tire increases because there's no sidewall reinforcement like there is on the front Kumhos.

i'm sorry, but a radial tire cannot expand. it has radial steel belts going through the middle of the tire that won't allow it to expand. the sidewall reinforcements have nothing to do with it. i don't know much about tires larger than 15's, but i have done EXTENSIVE research on drag radial tires.

all tires in some way shape or form do expand due to heat. I'm not talking a huge expansion....just maybe a centimeter or quarter inch nothing more.

What was involved in the rear to make them fit? I am looking into doing the same thing, and would like to know if it was just a couple of whacks with a BFH?? What width is that rim?

the rim width is 9.5"...there's also a 1.5" aluminum spacer on there...the passenger side seems a lil closer for some reason dunno...but just a few wacks with a small sledger then painted and rubberized it all....
