Welcome to my world lol. I discovered Holley + Victor Jr + Air filter = No more stock hood.
Ive got a custom cowl hood in the works but for a temp fix I bought a pin on from Champion. It was cheap thats about all you can say about it.
Its a shame that there is no version of the ZL1 or Sunoco/Jonbloed or somthing else that looks good on the car that is taller to provide better clearance for those of us with taller intakes. Our choices are cowl or big dumb hood scoop.

If you're afraid about fit and alignment, get a steel cowl hood.
I wish I was in the US and could order one for the prices you guys pay for a full steel cowl hood. Once it's on this side of the pond the hood cost about as much as the Japanese heat extraction contraption, mainly due to shipping and 19% import taxes + 6% customs.

I just called goodmark for steel 4'' cowl hood, they only ship to border... grr.
Anyway a good friend of mine have a speedshop.
So I will get my 4'' Goodmark Steel hood next week
Do you thinbk it will look good on my car? :
