GM Weather Strip
Just a quick question, Is this the correct part# for the door weather strip from GM
GMPD - Right Door (20350900) - $171.21
GMPD - Left Door (20350901) - $131.81
Now at Hawks they sale them for 224.00 a piece, is this the same weather stripping? I heard the GM is the only way to go with weather stripping. Thanks

GOD thats expensive.. i need weather stripping myself, but holy hell! that is crazy.
is that just for the rubber seal around the door? cause i need pretty much ALL the rubber for my doors, hatch, and the pieces of rubber that goes on top of the door and seal the window to the door.

I got all mine off Ebay.
A1 Auto I think is the seller.
Good price, adn good products!
I bought all the weather stripping, and my T top weather stripping.
Plus the inner and outter door felts from them too.

Re: GM Weather Strip
well I installed the t top weather stripping from them a couple years ago. No problems at all.
I had to tear it out because I'm repainting the car.
So I bought everything from them again.
I have no complaints.
The hatch weather stripping is really nice. I installed that already.
Around the doors...that kit looks really nice also, but I'm not that far along to install that.
And the door felts look really good as well.
Just 1st hand, I bought from them and I have no complaints.

Re: GM Weather Strip
If it's me I order only directly from a GM dealer because there are brands out there who are GM Licensed, but it's not up to GM quality most of the time and weather strip is one area there usually terrible.
I personally don't care for GMpartsdirect.com because there prices are low but shipping is really high to offset the low cost and to get a hold of someone there is next to impossible.
I prefer OEHQ.com, Gm based dealer out of St. Louis area, free shipping on orders over $50. Yeah there prices are higher but almost the same as GMPD after you factor in shipping and OEHQ has tons better customer service.

I just called OEHQ and he had no idea about the weather strip. He said that he cant get them for my year and that he didnt know were to get them. So much for that place

Re: GM Weather Strip
I suggest in the future that you have the part # ready when you order. Most GM part guys are not up to speed on a car 20 + years old unless they are die hards like us. You listed the part numbers in first post; when you called just give the parts numbers, they pop right up in there website. I learned the hard way years ago, I always have part numbers when I order that way there is no getting the wrong items.
I have never had anything but great transactions with OEHQ, but then again I always give them the part numbers when I order. They are quick to ship and recently I had an item on backorder from GM, they went to another GM dealer and pulled from there inventory to get it to me in under a week.
