That kit is Fugly, but there's a lot of aspects to the interior that I like. If that dash had a better fit, I'd really like it.

That kit is very ugly. Its pretty easy to tell its not a Ferrari. $167,000 to build that? Geez, just buy a REAL one!

I don't know, I doubt he paid that much to build it. Sellers always talk things up before a sale. I do like some things on the car, for instance now I know I can put different mirrors on the car(not those though). Some of it works, some of it doesn't. Just goes to show you that with enough time and money, you can make a third-gen look however you want it to.

I do not know if Fast Camaro was referring to this but the LT1 looks strangly alot like a TPI??, I bet its a 305.

I do not much care for it either & I like Ferrari's. There are some Ferrari Aspects, but I think the kit is overdone. lets tone it down a little & make it more realistic can we?

ALSO notice the center caps on the wheels, some are black & others have the cute horsie in the middle. Unfortunately that horsie looks more like a Lamborgini than a Ferrari. Ferrari Horses are profile & the head points forward not back.

i agree, i like that dash. looks different in a good way, but the car itself is by no means worth that much money

i agree that is a tpi motor, and most likely a 305.

WTF, it's a ferrari, yet it has a chevy center console? hmmmmm.......

you know, the snap-on man stopped by the other day. he told me he was going to stop selling me tools, because i've broken so many bullsh|t meters.

I think this guy should be arrested for fraud. The statement: "Every attempt has been made to assure the accuracy of the history of this vehicle. However, no one totally knows the whole story, therefore the above history may not be 100% accurate, but is considered acceptable to us" will not get him out of an *** kicking in court when the purchaser (who would be an idiot anyway) realises that he has a $2000 camaro with a body kit.
Jerks like this really **** me off.

That's amazing. There must surely be a law against what he's doing. That's false advertising. It's a TPI ammongst other things.

Imagine driving it. Knowing that everyone except 0.01% of the population knew you were driving a **** of a car pretending it's a ferrari.

The Bull **** flag is flying high with this one.

Well I don't think I'd ever do it. But I think its neat that you can do it, and their is a kit. I do like that dash though. Not to many alternatives to our dash. I'd much rather change the interior than the outside of the car. But no the less it is neat.

I believe it definately started life as an 87 Camaro with 305 TPI. Notice the centerbolt valve-covers & the non-cerpintine belt on the front of the engine. Also notice there are holes for the Dual snorkle air intake like the Camaro. Not to mention the Interior looks suspiciously like a camaro with some added pieces.

A Camaro! Nonono! It can't be. It was built by a "soon to be leading competitor" of Ferrari's. Unless you believe the title: "1993 Ferrari : Testerosa," then it really is a Ferrari.
This is the kind of stereotype that east coast people have of west coast people. Don't get me wrong, I love the west coast (I've spent entire summers on it), and 99.99% of the people there are upright human beings, but sometimes... I can just picture this guy. He has sunglasses, dresses like he's from the eighties, and has all his friends convinced that he's richer than he is. Slime!
LT1, sheesh.

That's a horrible kit that has a lot of F-40 styling. But the main thing to remember is that an F-40 is a rear engine car... if you ever see a real one, there is no room for a smallblock in the front.

Those headlights are definitely out of a 300ZX.

I e-mailed the guy this when i posted this topic :
ok i figured i would just let you know how far from the truth your statements about this vehicle are, first of all it has nothing to do with ferrari, it is a GM F-body, a.k.a. a camaro or firebird, and it is a 3rd generation platform, 1982-1992, all you have there is a kit car, nothing special, not 7 out of 8 in the world, also the engine is not an LT1 it is a Tune port injection motor, and it is only a 305, nothing special, and it did not come from a corvette, it came in the f-body , the corvette also had the tpi with aluminum heads and a lot of other goodies, on top of the fact that it was a 350 not a 305 and the way i know it is a 305 is because convertibles didnt get the 350, also if the car is an 87 it is the first year for the convertible and for the 350 in the thirdgen platform, So please dont deceive people into thinking that this is some super rare ferrari prototype, that is just wrong, please get your info straight.

he responded with:

Thank you very much for your email. Rather than risk reputation-threatening legal situations, we will take the kit car down. Our mechanic is out of town therefore we tried to guess it ourselves...our mistake! Once again, thank you for the email.
