Sub
I might be selling some stuff soon. I'll post it if I do,
but I have a nice box setup. See my car in the readers rides.

I would like plans if someone could send me the plans to build a custom box to make one 12" Adire Brahma face towards the rear of the car. I want to stealth my system as much as possile due to the area I live in. I wanna use about 1.5 cuft for the sub and would like to extend the rest of the box the rest of the way across my car as a lid with a fan in it to. I dunno if this is possible or would even work, but I need space inbetween the sub and the car because this is a high excursion sub. If someone has a box design or would like to help me with one I would be very appreciative.

Awesome choice for a sub!! I am seriously considering selling my IDMAX/ZR360 combo and going with a brahma being powered by a JL 1000/1 (when it comes out).
How much power are you planning on putting into that beast? With around 1000rms in a box of 0.9 ft^3 the sub will be w/in 10% of its Xmax and have a Qtc of 0.707 (ideal value for SQ).
Also, I would head over to www.teamamp.com and go to the Adire forums. The owners of Adire are over there along with a lot of different people that own brahma's, it is a very good resource for that sub (along with many others).

brahma???? i gotta see one of these things installed in a 3rd gen. oh so great subs, i'm envious. let us know houw it sounds. however, i dont know if you have enough room to face it backwards. it is a long sub as is and has a pretty long excursion. could run into problems. for my stealthing, i plan on getting one of the locking hatch covers. i have a shallow enough box that it will fit no problem, but i also have my sub facing up.

the ZR1000 is an extremly clean amp....but you will have some very significant voltage probs, unless you have a 200amp alt...that things draws a TON of current. My Zr360 pulls 50+A @ 1/3 power (as tested by Car Sound) so that ZR1000 would be more like 100A @ 1/3 power. lol
If you want to go with Kicker I would wait and get the KX1200.1. Its a Class D, so its WAY more efficient, and will probably be just as underrated as the ZR amps were, which means more like 1500+rms.

does anyone know where I can get plans for a sub box? I want to build one that will fit in the back trunk well. I plan on putting 2 12" subs in it. Nothing really powerful, just a pair of sony explodes or something, I just wanna add some base not blow the windows out. Any info would be a great help, thanks.

I was afraid that I wouldnt be able to face it backwards . I will just have to do some measuring, cuz I would really like to face it that way, I heard its suppossed to sound better that way. And I plan on mounting the box down to the body but I dont want the sub to be visible, cuz in my friends car they couldnt steal it so they busted the fu(k out of it. And with what I paid for the sub I dont wanna have to replace it!
