Help me out..Im a retard.
Ok, I have a AudioBahn 800x2 amp.
I have 2 Kove Audio subs, 2ohms each.
I have the subs run in parralel. I have a wire running from positive to the negative..and a positive hooked up to the positive terminal..and a negative hooked up on the negitive terminal. I have this done to both subs. I think its correct. But, this amp will barely push those subs. Even when I hook up one at a time and bridge it. Im really pissed off..and I dont know what the problem is. Thanks for the help in advance.

audiobahn sucks. But... it should still get pretty loud with that setup.
Your description of how you wired it isn't clear to me.
First of all, I'm relatively confident that an audiobahn would go up in flames if it was pushing a 1 ohm load, so you need to wire those koves in series to give the amp a 4 ohm load.
This picture shows how to series-wire a DVC sub. Series wiring 2 single-coil subs is exactly the same:

Which subs do you have?
RMS?
DVC?
2ohm?
4 ohm?
Try this wiring, This will give you a 2 ohm load with dual 2 ohm Voice coils.

Thanks for the help.
They run just fine now..but, that amp heats up pretty quick.
Can anyone suggest a goon Mono block amp with enough power to run both of these big boys? For around..$300-400?

find a used MTX 81000D, or a 1501D.
a JBL BP1200 would work,
Cadence makes a couple high current amps that would probably work for you.
that's about all i can think of on your budget.

That amp is rated at:
200w x 2 @ 4 ohm
400w x 2 @ 2 ohm
800w x 1 @ 4 ohm
For that amp, and dual 2 ohm voice coils
you have to wire the speakers to 4 ohm each, like the pic that Jim85IROC posted, then each speaker would hook up to a channel of the amp. You will only get 200w per speaker.
You need an amp that when bridged will handle a 2 ohm load.
Do NOT wire them the way the pic that I posted shows, you would then be trying to bridge the amp to a 2 ohm load and it will overheat.
Again, wire each sub for a 4 ohm load, then each sub to a channel on the amp. Or do not play them until you get a new amp.
What is the model number of the subs?
Or what series and size of Armageddon subs are they?
With out this info, we can not recommend a proper amp.

They Are Kove Armageddon Z's.
2ohm. Dual voice coil. 600w rms each.
Yea, I have them wired the way you show me. The amp heats up pretty fast. Like I said..I just need a good mono block.

ZM12-D2
dual 2 ohm Voice coils
600wRMS
Wire each sub this way. Connect each sub to its own channel on the AudioBahn amp
200wRMS per sub
For a new amp:
If your enclosure is sealed, this is a good buy:

If your enclosure is ported look at this:

yeah most AB class amps can only do a bridged 4ohm load... just use some common sense... if you are getting more watts than the amp is rated for, then you are running the ohm's too low

Like I said..I bought a MTX 81000D. I kept the subs wired this way..but, when I hooked them up to this amp..Nothing. Once again I had to turn up the gain all the way just to get alittle sound to come from them. I am running the amp off 4awg wire. I know it needs 0awg..but, it should be hitting harder than what it is. Do I need to wire the subs another way..again.
Guys..thanks for putting up with me. I've had about 6 systems..and I've never had these kind of problems.

uh... I doubt the amp NEEDs 0 awg... 4 gauge wire should be fine for 1000d... obviously 0 guage wouldn't hurt but 4 guage is usually good up to around 1300 watts total combined power...

I went back through..rewired everything..and...
THEY WORK!
They sound really good with this amp. I dont have them in a car..so I just ran them in my box on my garage floor..Even with my 200lb friend standing on top of the box..they still hoped across the floor..
Thanks to everyone who posted here and helped me.
