Re: HELP FAST
I`d stay with the F.I. you can get 750 cfm tb from Xtreme F.I. for less than 3 big ones, go faster and get great milage I have one and it`s awsome why is every one so willing to backwards in technology instead of forward?! trust me a properly moded TBI is a great system, I spank 4th gens and cobras with my TBI car and I get nearly 24 mpg you will never get those results with a drip box!

Re: HELP FAST
Without making judgements on the wisdom of what you're doing, yes, you need a non-cc HEI distributor preferably one with Vacuum advance and you'll be best off running the Mallory 4309 Return style regulator. Using the return into your tank will fight vapor lock and avoid hot fuel boiling in the carb bowls.
