TC lockup

Ive asked this before but havnt had much luck with it. Anyways my question is what can I tie the TC vacuum line into to make the converter work properly? Right now the hose is just sitting there under the hood.

PS the vacuum canister has been removed along with the EFE system. Thanks.

Re: TC lockup

Just get some "T" connections and tie it in to the hose from the EGR TVS to the EGR valve?

Ive barely driven the car at all so I dont know much about the way it drives but with the Trans switch unhooked what would be the expected characteristics?

Re: TC lockup

Tranny runs a little hotter at highway speeds, and mileage isn't as good.

Re: TC lockup

Sometimes the torque converter locks up prematurely. Chirping tires and the "sound" the engine downshifting from high revs to low. MIne is above the break pedal and engages about 44 mph. Ive replace the switch once.

Other than burning out the 3-4 clutch pack, no.

Re: TC lockup

Isn't it hard on the converter also if you have a lockup that you don't lockup? I've heard that before.
