I want to put a LED to see when my fan is running...
I read the Tech article a while back and the next day I bought the Hayden Fan switch that was listed.
I got that one becuase i wanted to be able to switch between the Hayden and Stock at the flip of a button.
Now I haven't finish installing this just quite yet.
Where do I put a LED to tell when it is on? the book tells me to put it on the a/c clutch but to me that tells me that it will tell me only when the A/c is turning the fan on. What do you think?
Anybody have a diagram or anything?
Hold on while I get some more info...

Hayden makes a fan turn-on relay (part no. 3652). Available at Pep Boys for about $25.
Features:
Thermal switch mounted in radiator.
Fan turn-on at 185° and off at 170°.
Can be wired to augment factory switch, not replace it.

How would I wire this up?
I want to have a witch to switch between stock and Hayden (AUTO)
I want a switch to maunally turn the fan on (FAN)
I also want the LED to to display when the fan is on
Also what resistors will I need to install the LED, if any?

Yeah once the fan is moving the circuit for that fan is complete, therefore current is flowing through and u can just splice into the two fan wires and hook the led up to that. I think that would work, someone tell me if i am wrong.

If you have ANY questions about anything that's written in the article, why don't you e-mail the author like the article says? BTW, I wrote the article.
