Dual fan operation question

I've read every single thread I can about this but still cannot find what I'm looking for. Car is an 88 Firebird Formula 305 TPI with dual cooling fans.

My issue is at some point in my newly purchased cars life someone rigged the primary fan (passenger side) to always run. The car originally came from Arizona and we all know they run warm so I understand why they did it but I want to bring it back to factory. So here's my questions...

I know the 2 relays on the passenger side (one by side of radiator and other on fender) are for the fans. Which is for the primary?
From what I remember when I used to own a third gen a long time ago you could ground out the relay to make sure it always ran. Does anyone know the ground color for both relays so I can check?

This is assuming the previous owner did this on purpose which at this point is only a guess. From what I can tell the wiring looks perfect and not messed with but I'm going to do some more digging. If the wiring hasn't been screwed with my other guesses are possibly a stuck relay or possibly the coolant sensor being shot/grounded out. Am I missing anything?

Re: Dual fan operation question

Was able to find this: austinthirdgen.org/mkportal/modules/contents/images/Fig36_1988_5_0L_Tuned_Port_Injection_engine_wiring.gif

This should get me what I need.
