Car is woofing at me...

Here is what I got. 91 RS rebuilt 305, tbi, headers etc...
I have a chip from Turbo City, ( I know it's not the best) but that's what I have for the time being. When my car is idling it tends to hesitate and or kinda woof every 4 - 5 seconds or so. Any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks,

A dog trapped under your hood , can you narrow it down to the iac ?
I think Ron from z-industries did almost all of the tuning for turbo city and his records are long gone so with out a read of your prom its hard to say what all that has been modified.

Re: Car is woofing at me...

I'll have to get a data log from it then. I have a Auto Prom that I have been messing with my truck. I guess I'll track down the proper bins, etc.. and see what I find. I have been meaning to do that anyway. I'm to a point where I would just be happy to take it somewhere and have it done. I'm sick of messing with all the tuning crap. It seems to be a never ending project.

Re: Car is woofing at me...

I believe that woofing is a miss-fire. It's a common thing in my. Personally, I like it. Doesn't affect my idling or drivability at all. Rally Smith, I don't know ninetyone. But I do know TunedPerformanc. On a weekly basis I communicate with Tuned and every time I have a question, he has an answer, in regards to bins, ecms, sensors, memcals, calibrations and ect. For example, my bro n law just got me 3.42 gears. Given the fact that I have 3.23 stock gears, Tuned immediately explained to me what I needed to do to correctly be able to correct my mph readings by purchasing a set of "driven and drive gears". I'm sure that ninetyone has good info too. But personally, Tuned has never failed me.

Re: Car is woofing at me...

A data log would be helpfull. You can build the ALDL cable cheaply. winALDL is free software to witness the sensors and schematic on cable.

We presume no CE light lit ?
