Still more ALDL issues (8746, $61)
The Jeep made its maiden voyage out of the garage today under its own TBI power...after nearly 7 months of being down. Grumpy has been very helpful in getting it this far...THANKS, Grumpy! It did okay...but I still can't log anything useful.
I can seemingly connect to the ALDL port using TunerPro, but the data is senseless. I get a 20.70 VDC battery voltage and no fault codes when I know for certain that I should get at least an O2 sensor code. I made the datastream definition file from the A090 definition I found on DIY-EFI. It has been checked and checked again for accuracy and I can't find anything wrong. Did I use the wrong definition from DIY-EFI? I still have the ZIP file with all the def's in it.
THIS IS KILLING ME!!!!

A few things:
1) What is your datalogging frequency? It should be around 0.5-0.7Hz. If it's not, just turn the key off for 20 seconds and back on. Keep the software running all the while. That should reset the communication and synchronize the datalogging.
2) Where is your vertical switch on the AutoProm? It should be in the 'up' position.
3) Have you tried using the WinALDL software? It should work also with the AutoProm in the 'passthrough' mode. Then there's no issue around the ADS definition.

If you determine its still not working, i'd be interested in seeing your ads file (so i can compare it to the A90). Could be the def file.

Mangus, I'll email you the ADS. I took it right off the A090 def file from DIY-EFI. I just put the bits and all in where they looked like they should have gone.
