Re: LM2 RPM hookup? please HELP!!!

i don't think many people have the lm2 yet. and from what i've read, i decided not to trade my lm1 for the lm2 since the rpm's wasn't all that yet.

for my lm1 with the rpm cable. i used the wire that goes from the icm in the bottom of the dizzy to the ecm. the neg side of the coil gave my crazy noise. this low voltage signal is very clean on my setup. i just tapped into the wire inside where it runs into the ecm.

Mine signal was funky too until I built what I believe is called a potentiometer(spell?). That cleaned it up nicely. Innovate never suggested using the lead to ECM? I wonder if that has any issues?

i built that little resistor thing too. it make the rpm graph usable. but still wasn't very clean.

this is pretty good.

Re: LM2 RPM hookup? please HELP!!!

where might find the instructions for this device?

also, any idea where to attach the rpm on an LS1?
