bin files not showing up on flash & burn

I like to save as a new file anytime i do modifications to my tune so i can reference back to old tune. when i go to load file to buffer on flash&burn, the new bin files are not showing up only previous files. I can see them in the folder on file explorer and in tuning software, just not when i try to flash. I have also tried a copy and paste of bin files in the same folder and those new pasted bins do not show up as well. Any ideas?

If the chip you're using for your modified tune is bigger than the OEM chip, then chances are you're using offsets to burn the chip. I believe you need to setup flash and burn to read the same line address that the offset has been written to.

Re: bin files not showing up on flash & burn

I'm using 27sf512 chips 32k file with buffer start/end 000000-007FFF and chip start/end 008000-00FFFF. I dont think that has to do with the files not showing up or maybe i wasnt clear on my issue. When i click "load file to buffer" it brings up the folder i have bins stored in but doesn't populate all bins i have in that folder. I've been tuning without issue since mid 2000's and haven't seen this happen before.

Re: bin files not showing up on flash & burn

I haven’t seen that, I’d try a pc reboot and check to make sure properties arnt a hidden file. Bin can be found and loaded into tuner pro ?

Re: bin files not showing up on flash & burn

I've went through the basic steps of reboot and checked to see if the files are hidden, they aren't. I can see the bins with tuner pro and load and modify them just fine. I even see them on windows file browser. Just doesn't show up with flash&burn, even the bins that do show in flash&burn if I create an exact copy by copy/paste, the new copy doesn't show up. I'm starting to think the program may have became corrupt. Does anyone have the install file for flash&burn?

I ran the tuning software in compatibility mode, saved a new file and that file is now showing up in flash&burn. Thanks for the help, I will report back here with new information so if someone encounters the same problem they can find it by searching.
