My new key

so i replaced my old lock cylinder. My car has vats. the new key i have doesn't have a resistor pellet on it and so my car wont start. Can i get the same resistor pellet from my old key put on "the new key". And then my car will start.

Chances are your new lock cylinder isn't set up for VATS so using the old pellet won't help anyway. Personally, I would disable the VATS but if you want to keep it, you'll need to get a VATS lock cylinder.

Do the resistor bypass and be done.
